haha don’t get me wrong, i respect bresson, he is just not for me (or is he?). i took a film history class and the teacher was supposed to show man escaped and instead she showed slumdog millionaire. i asked her what she was doing but she was clearly brain dead. i also tried to drag my friends to a bresson retrospective. and if you noticed i’ve watched a huge portion of his filmography. i am fascinated by the fact i don’t like his movies, i guess… and yes, godard is amazing. i just watched alphaville and jizzed everywhere.
